DAYS 2-3
Explore Livingstone & the Victoria Falls
Arrive in Livingstone and transfer to your lodge upstream of the Falls for a 2 night stay. Enjoy the wealth of activities on offer from Tongabezi including game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and boat trips on the Zambezi River. See the spectacular Victoria Falls and cross the border to explore the walkways on the Zimbabwean side also. Speak to your African Pride consultant for full details of all possible activities and excursions in the area.
DAYS 4-6
Safari in South Luangwa National Park
Today you will be transferred to the airport where you will take light aircraft flights to the South Luangwa via Lusaka. Transfer to your camp for a 3 night stay in this outstanding wildlife destination. Home to a wonderful concentration of animals, including exceptional leopard numbers, the South Luangwa Valley is also the birthplace of the walking safari. Enjoy game viewing activities on foot and on game drives in this beautiful and exclusive park.
DAYS 7-10
The beaches of Lake Malawi
Today you will fly via Lilongwe to Likoma Island, in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Malawi for a 4 night stay. This huge freshwater lake allows you to experience beautiful, sandy lakeside beaches and a wide range of watersports activities without the need for lots of travel. The boutique resort of Kaya Mawa is on a pristine, white sand beach which feels more like Zanzibar than central Africa. With so much to do, you may want even longer to just relax and enjoy the lakeside lifestyle – ask the African Pride team about extending your stay or exploring more of warm and welcoming Malawi.
DAY 11
Fly back to Lilongwe
A final short light aircraft flight brings you back to Malawi’s capital. Fly overnight back to the UK via Johannesburg.
