DAYS 2-3
At leisure in Victoria Falls
Arrive in Victoria Falls and transfer to your chosen hotel. With a choice of guesthouse style B&B’s, luxury hotels and relaxing lodges upstream of the Falls, this energetic little town has something for everyone. Known as the adventure capital of Zimbabwe, we have an extensive range of day trips such as white water rafting and helicopter flights, plus relaxing sunset cruises on the Zambezi river. DAYS 4-6
Fly to Hwange National Park
Today you will be transferred to the airport where you will fly to Hwange National Park then transfer to your accommodation by road. Spend 3 nights exploring this large wilderness park, the largest in Zimbabwe. Famous for its large elephant herds and excellent predator sightings, the natural waterhole at The Hide also attracts plenty of wildlife to your doorstep. For the adventurous, a sleep out at The Dove’s Nest is included free of charge subject to availability.
DAYS 7-9
Stunning Lake Kariba
Transfer to the local airstrip then fly to Lake Kariba for 3 nights. Enjoy a variety of activities on land and on the water in this unique setting. Game drives, walking safaris, boat cruises and fishing mean there is always something new to explore. Watching the sun set across the lake, illuminating its famous skeleton trees is one of our favourite ways to end the day.
DAYS 10-12
Magnificent Mana Pools
Fly to Mana Pools National Park for 3 nights to complete your adventure in Zimbabwe. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this beautiful park forms the border with Zambia along the river. Canoeing down the Zambezi or casting for Tiger Fish make for exciting extra activities in addition to game drives and walking safaris. John’s Camp also has a star bed for a final sleepout should you wish – please enquire with your tours consultant as pre-booking is recommended.
DAY 13
The adventure concludes
A final light aircraft flight returns you to Victoria Falls. Transfer onto your international flight, with overnight connection back to the UK.
